There are three separate playgrounds at Parkdale. Each playground has toys appropriate to its age group. The Infant and Toddlers playground has ride on toys, balls, push toys, and shovels and pails for the sandbox. The two and 3 year old playground has climbing equipment, slides, swings, trikes, trucks, balls and sandbox toys. The "Big Kid" playground has balls, hula hoops, jump ropes, trucks and sandbox toys along with climbing equipment, slides and swings. Each playground has sufficient mulch and sand to protect from falls as well as grassy and shaded areas. Teachers spread out when on the playgrounds so that each area and child is visible at all times. Safety is our primary concern.
