Programs at Parkdale
Infants and Toddlers-
During this crucial time children develop the motor skills that will create paths for all future learning. The program includes low ratio of children-to-teacher to ensure that each child is given that special attention needed for secure growth.
Preschool-
Attitudes and social patterns are formed between the years of one and six, leaving permanent impressions. Interesting, varied, and stimulating play materials, music, finger plays, stories, arts and crafts, computer experiences practical life exercises and social contact with other children help our young children grow in confidence and self esteem.
Daycare-
Our daycare program is an extension of our basic philosophy, with the added opportunity of a personal relationship in an extended family situation. Daycare includes the educational program, breakfast, lunch, snacks, and before and after care.
Before and After School-
Transportation is available for those children attending Suburban Park, Granby, and Mary Calcott Elementary Schools. We are also on the public school routes for Ghent Elementary and Lakewood Academy. No transportation is provided to and from home. During the Holidays or non-school days for the school-aged child, there is an additional fee per day. This includes the child's breakfast, lunch and snacks.
School-Age Summer Camp-
Our Summer Camp is both fun and educational! Each week there is a new theme, such as Under the Sea or the Solar system. There are also field trips and activities on a weekly basis like...
Pool time once a week for fun swim time and trips to the movies and bowling!
We take trips to several parks including Sandy Bottom in Hampton, Bluebird Gap Farm, The Botanical Gardens the Zoo as well as most of the areas museums and aquariums.
We also have several interactive classes with Circus in a Suitcase, Harold Wood, and even bird shows that come to us.
There are sprinkler days twice a week as well as kickball and soccer games.
We stay very busy and have lots of fun in the process. Please come and see us at your convenience for a tour.
Breakfast and lunch is provided as well as snacks.
