Room 15 is for toddlers aged 16-24 months. In this room skills are taught through hands-on, multi-sensory activities. Curiosity is a strong motivation to learn during the early years so activities are planned to foster and satisfy their curiosity. Weekly themes are coordinated and incorporated into daily activities. At this age level, teachers emphasize advancing language skills, motor development and coordination, exploratory learning with structure and basic rules, socials skills, self-help skills, independence, creativity, parallel and interactive play. This room is equipped with an intercom directly linked with the office for your child's safety. The room also has tables and chairs that are "kid-sized". The ratio in this classroom is 5 children to 1 teacher.
Parents need to supply the following: -a sheet and blanket weekly -diapers and wipes and box of 100 gloves per month or account is charged $5.00 monthly for gloves -changes of clothes
