Room 10 is for children ages 24-36 months. Children in this room will begin potty training. The room has a bathroom in the classroom. The room is also equipped with an intercom directly linked to the office for your child's safety. Weekly themes are incorporated into daily activities that help to foster curiosity and learning. More structure is introduced in this room, as well as opportunities to express independence. Teachers emphasize advanced social and self-help skills, development of friendship, math-readiness, pre-reading/writing skills, science activities, gross and fine motor skills, balance, coordination, extensive awareness and naming body parts, simple structured games, cooperative play, imaginative play and personal information.
Parents must provide the following: -a sheet and blanket -pull-ups/underwear and wipes (unless potty trained) -extra changes of clothes
